I believe I would like my bars just a hair higher. I know I could get taller ones, but I'd hate to buy them and not like them.
Could I use a spacer under the bar mounts to put them up a little?
Has anyone tried this, if only as a temporary test?
I'd like about 1/2 to 3/4", I think.

Hey Karl!
I just went riding this weekend and I put Pro Racing Mini Bends on mine and EVERYBODY loved them! I think they are worth the 31.99 at www.rockymountainmc.com that I paid for them. They are 5" tall 29" wide and have a pullback of 3.37"

I think I would rather have the safety of just replacing my bars than try to rig something up. That's just me though....:)

Yeah, i've been thinking the same thing carlp. I ran into an actual mechanic at my local riding area and he suggested doing that when i asked for a bar recommendation. He said ditch those cotter pins and just double nut the bottom. I think that or mebbe locktiting it would work.

Did you flip around the bar clamps yet? Check the justkdx website. Theres a spot under chassis mods for tall riders. Thats worth a 1/4 to a 1/2" i think, forward and up.
