Honda CR80 weight limit (and dual sport capability)

Anyone know what an older 2-stroke CR80 rider weight limit is? I found one cheap and want to buy it for my son, but I want to make sure he's not too heavy.

Thanks!

Give us an estimate of his weight so we can tell you if the asnwer is oviouse or not.

Most mini dirt bikes have a max load of 110kg but it all depends on the quality of the bike.

Sorry...he's about 130lbs (and growing daily!)

(110kg is about 242lbs! will this thing really carry me without problems/damage? I'm 185lbs before breakfast!)

Cool...I'm going to get it for $200.

Another (silly) question: once my son has grown out of it, is this a bike I could make street legal for my 3/4 mile morning run to the train station? If so, is it just as simple as adding blinkers and a plate holder?

TIA.

Looked up CT rules on definition of "motorcycle":

Now the only question is: who makes a dual sport kit for the CR80?

For a full out Moto Meaning your racing i would say max weight is a 135 pounds. Now as a play bike riding in a big lot or playing in the dirt but not over running it to long i would say 180 pounds max. My wife rides a 01 CR80 and it pulls me just fine until i hit suger sand then it begs
