I think a 230 (or used XR200R) would be the right bike for you. I ride an XR200R, and while it's not the bike for mx, it's a fun little bike for trail riding. I actually race mine (bone stock except for bark busters) and have done pretty good. I do plan on moving up to a bigger bike, because I'm 5'11", 160lbs, so I figure an XR250R or KDX200 would be about right (CRF250 is out of the question- $$$$). Go with the 230, I'm sure you'll be fine on it.
