Honda CRF 450 -07, decompressor removed

Hi experts!

Whats your opinion about the fact that the whole decompressor system was removed from my crf 450 -07, by previous owner? I noticed it recently when started to check valve clearances.

I've been driving the bike few hours after purchasing, and it started easily. Cold and hot on 1st or 2nd kick without any special force.

More likely the current owner is misinformed.

07 is the first year of the new cam gear decompressor. It is not like the 02-06 version. Notice the flipper dooha on the cam gear? yeah, keep playing with it until you figure out how it works.
