I have a honda ct70 thats been sitting for 15+ years that I am trying to get running again.

I removed the spark plug and noticed when trying to kick start it, the piston is not moving.

Any ideas what wrong, and if its fixable?

Thanks

Over time an aluminum piston sitting in a steel liner equipped cylinder will form a corrosion layer that can pretty much lock the piston in the bore. If the corrosion on the piston isn't too far gone you can sometimes fix these problems by pouring a 4-6 ounces of WD40 in the spark plug hole and letting it sit for a few days. WD40 will usually break down the corrosion and free up the piston. Make sure you change the engine oil afterwards to flush out the WD40.
