The Honda links and some other DRN threads show that the CRF230 is an updated XR200 and the CRF150 is an updated XR100. The bikes are comparable to the TTR Yamahas, not the YZF's.
I've been poking around and don't even find that much information. With any luck though Honda will make the 150 with a lot of suspension... I can live without the horsepower (and aftermarket guys will find it for us) But can't live with the 6" of travel we get out of the TTR's.
Looks like an old generation frame, small tube forks, drum rear brake. No specs are available yet, but Honda's page describes the CRF150 and 230 as durable trail bikes with styling inspired by Honda's motocrossers.

How tough would it have been to make it look like that? Maybe another $500 in retail, $2999. Maybe the wigs in charge have determined that the price point for a midsized bike like that is $2495. What a shame. What they are proposing is NOT, NOT, something that should be called a CRF150F. It should be called an xr150 or a CTR150 (to compete with the obvious target of Yamaha's TTR's). Plain and simple.... shame
