i bought a new xr250 four months ago and ride twice a week in florida. i did a search on hot start kit but it didn't say much on when you drop the bike which i do in the soft sand a few times a day. the best way i found to restart is by decompressor in ,open throttle, and stroke about 10 times.the kick starter that is. anyway it still takes a long time and a lot of strokes to get it started. everyone else i ride with has 2 strokes. it stinks while everyone waits for me to get my bike started. i saw the hot start kit for sale at xr's only web sight but it doesn't say anything about it. looks like you would have to tap a hole in the intake manifold, doesn't look like there's much room for that. anyone out there installed one, and how does it work. makes me wish a got a ktm 200 exc like my friend.
