M Mr.Selfdestruct Member Jul 28, 2007 24 0 Aug 6, 2007 #4 I thought it was to get fresh cool air into the combustion chamber . When riding the bike for a while and the engine is hot, i thought you open the hot start button and cycle in some fresh cool air then kick it over. Its worked for me.
