hi, i was looking for info on putting a hot cam in my crf 250r. i've heard great things about this. can you run it w/stock exhaust and is there any need to rejet?

There is a #1 and #2 Hot Cam. More low end or more top end. You always have to adjust the fuel mixture screw but mostly just for outside air conditions.

Expect to get a good amount of low to md from the stage 1 hot cam, you loose the over rev. Pay someone to degree the cam or check it yourself. I have seen more than one ground a tad off spec... I liked the power but Junior ougrew in infavor of a more stage 2 type powerband.

Okay, because I think I read somewhere that it didn't require any changes, but as I thought you hade to change shims. But do you have to try your way to good valveclearance? :whoa:
