I am new to this sport and i would like to get knee pads (I hit my knee the other day = painful).
My boots come up to about 6" below my knee. I wear my pants inside my boots.
My question is, do the bottom of the knee pads go into the boots also? I have only seen pictures of knee pads and I can't imagine how they fit otherwise. But, my boots are tight, but could be worn looser.

most times, yes the bottom of the knee pad wedges into the top of the boot to keep it from sliding down.
