How far did you travel to attend dirt week?

Just a curious question regarding the DW events. I live in California when in the US. I haven't yet been to a DW, but I am considering going to the 2006. Even if it is all the way in Oklahoma (looks like you got nice dirt there :cool: ).

I am wondering...if you are not from Oklahoma, and you attended a previous DW, how far did you travel to get to it. :ride:

DW from Cali is about a 2 day trip for me

for me - about 850 miles each way (~15 hours one way) from Dayton, Ohio

650 miles each way for me. About 13-14 hours in a motorhome pulling a trailer. Well worth the time, money, and effort. I've never had a better vacation. All you have to do is show up and stand somewhere between Donny, and Milk, and you're guaranteed a good time. YZ165

1,400 miles, about 22 hours. Well worth it.

I've been there from 2 different states.

From Rhode Island it's about 1600 miles (but, I flew in...)

From Iowa it's about 550 (we did drive that one!)

No matter how you get to Dirtweek, it is totally worth the trip.

2005 was our first Dirt Week and we had a blast! It was a 12 hour trip from South Dakota.
