I was just wondering, does anybody know how many KM u can get out of a full tank of gas on average?I have a 2.9g tank, on a 2005 220. Iam thinking on takin a long trip.
I've pulled 65 miles before getting into my reserve on some rides. I was really conservative on the roads(not trying to wheelie every two seconds) and shutting it off on long downhills.
I figured out that my bike uses 7 litres per hundred kms. Not sure how many gallons that is but I think a US gallon is 3.8Litres. My tank is 10 litres, and has a 1 litre reserve (I think). SO I could go about 130km of a tank. I tested this properly, these figures are accurate (for my bike). I have a 35mm carby and the riding this particular day was 2nd - 3rd gear stuff along a ridge line with big hill descents and climbs in there too.
