I have a 1979 IT175 and I thinking about getting boyeson reeds for how much will they help the powere and where will they help it Top,Mid, or bottom end
spw1993, i just put them in my bike last night but i am waiting on a throttle cable till this coming tuseday or wednesday. I will give you an update then.
Just put a set in my 79 YZ 125. They fit right in, but still having jetting issues as I went from a 32 mm carb to a 34 mm. Aside from playing with jets, everything seems ok so far
Thanks 2 strokes. Im at 360 main right now,needle in 3rd position, cant remember what the pilot is, maybe a 50. Its getting better, gonna get a 340 and 350 main this week before the next race
Ok, i tried the reeds and it seems to take away some bottom end snap for a better top end pull. I like them but the jetting probably needs to be cleaned up a bit.
