Starting off with small dirt jumps i was wondering if anyone could give me any advice on jumping, especially preventing from the nose landing first. And if you are suppose to accelerate right at the jump or ???

Is your bike ready to jump? The front brake does not stop the wheel in the air, that's dangerous! Is the race sag set, and sprung for your weight? Most all jumps require drive and momentum. Chopping the throttle on the take off, can send you over the bars quickly. Scared? Try smaller or slower jumps. It does not happen over night, it takes a LOT of practice to feel safe jumping. It will also bring a few crashes. IMO, if your corner speed is good enough, jumping is not a question. Ride safe, do not rush it, it will come. When was the last time you heard of a guy getting hurt in the corner? Save some money for a personal teacher, local pros are cheap, and you can still learn to his level! Vintage Bob

There are a lot of good videos on Transworld Motocross website that will not only tell you what you want to know, but show you.

www.twmx.com

Went on twmx.com they provided alot of videos on riding technique but they didnt have one for jumping in general. you think you could post the link to it? Thanks
