hi all experienced racers/riders.(especially CR250 owner)

how do you guys make up the lack of bottom end power of the Honda?

bike like YZ with bottom end would surely pull out of corner faster than CR.

Any advice?

one more thing, CR would sure be faster on the bigger and longer track with high speed sweeper.

or long straight track.

how about those tight track like SX??
with tight corner
how to ride it fast like Larocco?

I just purchased a 1996 CR 250, a few weeks ago.I found that it had plenty of bottom-end, but I changed the back sprocket to a 51, and now it's even better. It still has lot's of top-end though.

Carry more speed in, hit the brakes harder, clutch it coming out. Don't try and lug the motor. Depending on the tracks you ride, you might want to re-gear.
