This is prolly more info than you were asking but I can't help but boast about my old hoosk !

I swapped out the whole rear wheel with one from a Hoosk 250. More chainwheel options and the brakes seemed to work a tad better...for me at least.
I also swapped out the crappy stock forks/wheel with Honda CR250M 73-74 forks and front wheel, it just slides right in. The front braking and fork action is superior to the stocker.
Lose the stock ignition, it will DNF you eventually, get a new one from Penton Imports, Daine Leimbach used my cases to fab up the backing plate for the new ones they have,Daine is the man!
Lose the Bing for Mikuni.

It worked so well I won the AHRMA Classic 125 Expert National Championship in 1996.

Go for it !
