I am 16years old make and weigh 105 lbs. I plan on getting a Xr100 really soon. But i never worked on any engine before except for jump starting my car. Do yall know any way for me to learn or does it just take time?

The other thing that I would suggest is small engine repair in shop school. I didn't live in a rural area so we didn't have a Agruculture class. It was called CVAE and was basicly small engine repair. Then in highschool you could go to the Technology Center and they taught you auto mechanics. Its was actualy a realy fun class.

Thannx for the site it helps alot. But my highscool isnt cool enough to have any classes like that/ The class we have that is fun is art.

You don't need nothing flashy che. All you need is a little common sense and you will pick things up. Just watch other a people and you will learn a lot. Over time you will become more confident. Remember, motorbike mechanics are very basic so it shouldn't pose t much of a threat!
