To change the kickstarter shaft I have to pull the side of the gear box off. Do I need to take the engine off the bike and lay it sideways so nothing falls out or can I just do it with the bike upright? Serious info please

Thanks to you few that actualy replied to this post, when I need help I can not get any here, guess I'm not in the circle. I got it fixed last night upright, took about 2 hours. Scale of 1 to 10 it would be a 5.

What, You expect people here to write out the repair method for both your bikes listed just because you're too lazy or don't have the ability to write an intelligent post?

Include the necessary info, and answer questions such as "What's the bike" and maybe you'll get some useful info in return.

I agree.. Plus, sometimes it's not a bad idea to wait a bit longer that 25 hours before you get p!ssed that no one answered your post. Despite what some folks may think, some of us do actually go out and ride and or work on our own bikes. We don't sit here 24 hours a day waiting to answer questions from people too cheap to buy a service manual. I spent 3 hours in my garage Saturday night tearing my bike down to rebuild the engine and powder coat the frame!! WHOOT!
