I just bought my first bike, a '00 KDX 200, that has been modified with KX 125 forks. I am a little bigger than the guy I bought it from and I'm getting ready to go on my first "real" ride here in FL riding trails. I've ridden a little around the house and our lot etc. The rear suspension sags a lot just from me sitting on it. and I know I'm going to have to stiffen the front a bit too. My question is simple to those who are experienced. Where are the adjusters located (I think I know, top of forks and top and bottom of rear shock, but want to be sure before I go screwing with things) and how should I start out? Should I stiffen them up and then soften them until I get the feel I want or should I leave them soft and continue to stiffen them? Again, I'm still learning so no rocket science terms please but I'm not incompitent either.... I thank everyone on the site for all your help in my new hobby!
