97KTM 250exc with Kehein carb idles like it is running out of fuel yet starts easily and pulls hard. It ran excellent up untill this fall and the problem has gotten progressively worse. If I slow the engine with the kill button it will idle correctly. I am thinking pilot circuit or maybe a worn needle and seat. Any ideas?

I would try richening the air screw (turn it in). In the fall, the temp drops and the mixture gets leaner do to there being more "air."

High idle can sometimes indicate 'air intake' leak

that is a d slide kehin and it came on some of the older suzuki 2 strokes make sure that you dont rotate the choke knob because it can lean them out but i am not completly sure why or you have an air leak
