I'm Certified!

Hey guys, I've been gone all week and just got back into town this P.M.

I was sent down to San Diego all week to learn how to be a Dangerous Goods Specialist. We took the test this A.M. and I passed with a 99! It won't be any more money yet, but it could mean more hours here and there. (In case y'all forgot, I work for Fedex now.)

One of the guys I met at class is a rider also, so I turned him on to DRN and told him to post me a hello, so keep your eyes open for a newbie from the San Diego area. He said he gets up to Stoddard and Johnson Valley alot, and I told him that several members of the crew reside in his area.

Eel, I really wish I was able to go tie ribbon with you guys; that would be great fun, but I'm committed all day Sunday (my day off) so.....

Please post again when you have another 'ribbon party', as I would seriously be interested next time!

Congrat. on the Cert. :thumb:  You should have told me you were in my neck of the woods. I would've met up with you for dinner or something.

It's always good to get the word out about DRN and get some new guys out sportin the tutu.  :laugh:

KTM does this mean you can haul ol89ers XR? I would think as much oil as that thing spits out it should be considered hazardous. Congrads KTM!

Rich, I don't have my hazmat endorsment (yet), but I'm legal to haul under 1,000 lbs. of hazmat. What do you suppose the XR Valdez weighs?
