In search of Boots, need advice

Wasn't sure what thread topic this fell under so I chose general. I've got a friend that just got into mx. He just bought an 08 Honda CRF450R. I've hooked him up with most of his gear. Only problem he's got is.....sasquatch fever! He's 6ft 7in tall and treads a size 18 foot. WE CAN'T FIND ANY MX BOOTS!! Thor,Alpine,MSR,Answer......no one makes a boot that big and won't custom make a size unless you are a top ranked sponsored rider with them. Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated, ANYTHING!! Thanks :bang:

Try on the biggest size of Tech 8's and don't use the liner. Perhaps that will get him close, just a thought...

Try Acerbis, they usually make large numbers like 12 for example.

The biggest size that Acerbis makes is 12. Thanx for the advice though. The closest I've gotten so far is what BigRed suggested and we're in the process of ordering a pair of size 16 tech 8's now to try removing the booty. The rep at alpinestars said that their boots normally match up to what ever size dress shoe you wear and he actually wears a size 17 so just maybe this will work. Thanx BigRed!!
