does anyone know if the inside clutch cover from a 1989 kx 250 part no. 14032-1243 will fit on a 1992 kdx 250, part no. 14032-1310. the cover on my bike is cracked and leaking my transmission oil. i had it welded, but i think they used too much heat and warped the cover. any help is appreciated!

In the past, I have used the part numbers from the online diagrams at Service Honda to answer these types of questions. Look them both up, resolve them down the the precise part number, then see if the other is the same.

Takes some time, but thats how I found a good deal on a replacement output shaft for my 1995 KDX-200 (about half the transmission is the same between that and the earlier year bikes).

the part numbers that i listed above are from the kawasaki web site, they have all the part diagrams on there. i just had an issue with my shift shaft. the one for the kdx250 was discontinued so i got one from a kx and then needed a shifter from a kx and all the parts worked fine.

the first group of #'s is a discripter and the second group is the specific part for the model alot of folks get excited when they see the first group is the same for example a 96 kx60 clutch cover part number is 14032-1246 notice the same first grouping but diff. rear number ....wont fit
