installing headlight on MXC

I have a '01 MXC 250 and was considering putting a headlight on it for those late afternoon rides in the woods. Has anyone used the aftermarket units from UFO? are they a all-in-one unit or do I need extra hardware? The MXC already has the lighting coil, but do I need special wiring? Many thanks to all of those who reply.

I have a 2000 200 MX/C. I put an Accerbis unit on mine. I had to buy a voltage regulator and switch. Also the bulbs that came in my unit were 40 watt. My coil was good for 35 watts. I could do one of two things here. Take one bulb out or buy two 20 watt bulbs which I did. Works great.

Anyone know if all i need for my '96 300 mxc is a regulator and acerbis light kit too?

Yep, should be the same deal. No idea how many watts your lighting coil will push, though.
