I've got a 90 E2 KDX, I recently helped a friend tear down and e-bay a 87 KX125 and grabed what I wanted off of it.

I picked up the inake boot and when I compared it to my oem kdx unit, the KX boot appears to be wider on the reed block side.

I'm thinking this might be a good thing?

any experience, tips trips traps ???

If his KX had a bigger carb, as most do, then the boot will not fit and a bell reducer will be needed.

Does he have the front brake master cylinder? If the hose banjo bolt points foward, I could use one.

No, my carb fits snug on it, and it bolts to my reed block, it just widens out more than the kdx unit into the reed block.

sorry,.. all the kx parts are gone.. we made about $600 for just hauling it away, piecing it up and ebay'ing it...
