First of all you need to find out which Bridgestone tire they have and list it.
Also, what are you using the bike for. A hard slick mx track would require a different tire than a muddy enduro.
its a intermediate to hard terrain tire. i ride mostly on hard dirt tracks or fields. i also ride alot on pavment going from place to place so i figured if i got a tire for hard terrain it would hold up.
As I understand it soft terrain tires are made of a very hard compound and hard terrain tires are made of a softer compound so they grip better. I would get soft terrain tires because they last longer.
I agree. I used the 78 rear in alot of ledge rock, mud, roots, and all of the other nasty crap you'd find in the woods. And got a very good life, and traction out of it.
I ran the Bridgestone ED 78 on the back of my 500 and wasnt pleased at all. forward traction was decent, but as soon as you turned the tire would slip rather easily. The side knobs didnt hook up real well. I ran the tire for 3 months and then gave it away. Try the IRC m5b. Wears real well and tracks great + you can get it as large as a 140 if you have an 18' rim.
I didn't know that Bridgestone supported the enviro-nazis..........that sucks. I'm glad I didn't buy a set this time around.......I went with s-12s and am very impressed.......I just wish they came in a 110-90-19 instead of the 120-80-19........the xtra width makes it feel weird in turns for some reason. The lower profile of the front seems to help though......not quite as short as a 20 but shorter than a 21.
