Is Havoline a good oil brand?

I was browsing through our local dollar store and found Havoline 10W40 motor oil for $1.00 a quart. It wasn't energy conserving, and it had the API rating.

I normally use catrol 10W40 in my 2003 RM-250 at $3.00 a quart. Saving $2.00 a qurt would be great.
