Hey guys I just put on a Hydraulic clutch kit on my 98 Y 250, I was wondering how to tell if the clutch isn't letting out all the way, and I mean like only a little bit engaged still, my concern is that the rod in the slave cylinder was a very tight fit and didn't have the 5-6mm of free play that is required, it has maybe 3-4mm of free play, so how can you tell it the clutch is partially engaged. I just don't want to burn up my clutch and keep going through them without knowing. Just curious,
Jeff

how far do you need to pull the lever until it begins to slip, might tell you more. If it slips right away then it will need to be slackened off.

The lever will disengage the clutch after only about 3/4" of movement (at the end of the lever), I just have never had a hydro clutch to compare it to, I have it all the way slackened. Anyways, hows that lever perform on your bike bruce? take it easy,
Jeff
