Is this normal coloring for a pipe and dent repair

I stripped all of the paint of my pipe and ran it bare for the first time this weekend. I've seen them where the whole pipe turns a little blue, but never just the header. Does it mean anything?

And, I mentioned splitting my pipe to repair some dents in another post. I just split along the original welds and then rewelded. Here is the picture:

It would be better if you had the before after pic.Factory pipe welds are similar,but ridiculous to tell with those shots.Looked like a good repair,no leaks?I just looked at some of AJ's handy work,now he can weld!Snapped the exhaust bracket clean off,when Ryan crashed the Lightning 450,and the 450.00 carbon fiber muffler!AJ's welds look better than oem!

I'm not worried about the look of the welds. I did it with an acetylene torch and ER70S2 filler. Someone asked how I split the pipe and I wanted to show where.
