So today my chain snapped off while riding (no damage done, thank god) and when I brought it home, I started the bike up with no chain on it just to make sure it was still running good. I noticed that when I had it in neutral and gave it gas, the front sprocket would still turn :whoa: and also when I pulled the clutch in, the front sprocket would turn :whoa:

Is this normal?? Bike is 97 YZ125.

the tranny fluid is thick enough to cause the shaft to move, but in reality both transmission shafts are still connected in neutral and there will be froction. To understand u have to dismantle a transmission yourself.
