That's cool to see it right out of the crate. Kind of like watching a baby being born...without all the gore.

Maybe I'm dumb, how do you receive a bike in a crate? Are you a dealer?

I bought it from Service Honda in Indiana and had it shipped to Long Island. They just never took it out of the crate they received it in.

I got it all together and I'm dying to take it out, tomorrow will be the first ride!!

Getting a bike in a crate has to be one of the best things in the world, untouched by dealer hands. ;) Congrats!!

Yeah, it was nice, like unwrapping a present. Now, i'm trying to figure out what i can do with the crate it came in. There's got to be something I can make out of it.

I have had one sitting in my garage for over a year now. I haven't done anything with it yet, the idea of turning it in to a workbench with underneath storage is very good. I could put some caster wheels on it and slide it around to so it would be portable, thanks Smit-Dog.

I've been holding off on making my new workbench until I get the new bike... ;)

... And the caster wheels (large and locking) idea is key!

I was thinking about the bench thing but the framing the bike came in is not exaclty strong, it's just thin steel spot welded together.

Mine is not the real sturdy, but with a little work, would be more than addiquate. I am probly going to put a plywood floor in it, for a nice flat storage surface, this will be over top of the steel floor. Some caster wheels and a plywood top.
