Before Friday, May 4

This Friday, May 4, the Bush Administration is scheduled to report to U.S.
District Court Judge Edward Lodge in Boise, Idaho on its review of the
Clinton Roadless Area Rule.

ANTI-ACCESS ACTIVIST ARE PULLING OUT ALL THE STOPS to make this a
costly decision for the new administration. In addition to TV, radio and
print ads, they held a press event this week with congressional members
calling on the president to leave the rule intact.

Your help is needed to ENSURE PRESIDENT BUSH AS THE SUPPORT
necessary to make the right decision - to return decisions on how these
important roadless areas are managed to the forest planning process and
Congress as specified in existing statutes and regulations.

Access must be for everyone. Exploration, multiple-use, private lands,
recreation, handicapped, fire fighting, safety, and more. EVERYONE.

Unfortunately, it looks like we got out-played by the Enviromentalists on this one! I really thought that the Bush admin would actually have the stones to stand up and set this one aside. I would guess that he has set his priorities with the enviro's already as he has pretty much also stated that he does not intend to do away with the rediculous Monument status of several Forest Service lands that Klinton already locked away! Does'nt seem we are much better off than before! Makes me so friggin mad that the party I support bends over and grabs ankles at the very mention of the Church of Liberalism's agenda!!!:scream:
