jb weld to repair crack in pipe?

my pipe was rubbing my cylinder head so i got a hammer to try and dent the pipe a little in that spot,, and ended up not only putting a dent in it, but also a two inch crack. today i bought some liquid metal (kinda like jb weld) and rubbed it into that spot.. do you think this will be a fix for it?

Nope, you'll have to get it welded.

The vibration will make it fall right off.

JB weld is NOT all that it is cracked up to be. It does have its place, but not there!
