Works great. I've been doing this since 1998. I use a double PWC trailer and moved the 2X4's close together to act as wheel rails. I bolted some heavy eyebolts up front to hook the tiedowns to. Moved the bow stop down to act as a wheel stop and run the ratchet strap around the wheel to cinch it down. I've carried dirt bikes or 2 street bikes all over. It never fails to get comments and attention but everyone agrees it works well. The trailer was rated for 1500#'s so this is a piece of cake for it.

yeah.....ive seen it done two, either weld a metal channel down the middle or bolt it...or, make a ply wood floor with two by four supports to go between the rails and then screw blocks into it to keep your bike straight...the possibilities go on and on. good luck
