i was wondering if any body has done a big bore 144 kit on a 99 kx125? (from eric gorr of course ported for race fuel at sea level) if so what jetting changes should i expect. i just want to be prepared come spring with some spare jets but i don't know what to buy, also if anybody has done the mo-better porting for race fuel on a 2002 cr250 (sea level eric gorr)what kind of jetting changes did you have to make?on both bike i don't need exact jet sizes (even though that would be great) i just want to know the genral direction to go in, you know what i mean; up two sizes on the main for example like i said i want to have some jets on hand come spring but i don't know what to buy yea i know i could wait and see how it runs first witch i might do if everbody says they ended up close to the same as before but if the general consenious is richer or leaner at least i can buy a few jets to have on hand that first day of riding so i can at least get it close
thanks everbody in advance

What are you buying the same bikes as me?

The jetting will be real rich on the 99 KX144 over the entire powerband. I leaned it out to 152 during the summer if I remember correctly and a 155 during the winter. Went leaner on the bottom also. That bike was a nightmare to jet. The needle was different also. I don't remember the exact needle, but I know it was leaner. I raced the bike at sea levelback in Nww York So that should help.

As for the 2002 CR250 leave your jetting alone. The only thing I did was go to the S-8 nozzle. I remember you had a lot of problems jetting your bike with the stumble off the bottom. I would not touch a thing unless you go to Oxygenated Race Gas, Then you might have to go richer. With EG powerband you might find a little goop at first, but that is probably cause you aren't getting on the pipe as hard, mine cleared right up as I got used to have a lot more bottom.

thanks for the reply,i will get a couple of smaller jets for the kx , the cr ran great once i switched to race fuel and the s-8 nozzle but boy did it run like crap stock now has a 390 main #73 needle in the second clip and a 32.5 pilot, i'll try it like it is and hopfuly it will be close.

if you rember of the needle and other jets for the kx please let me know it would really be a big help. at least now i know what too expect (rich all over) i'll get some smaller jets too have come spring but i would be awesome if you knew exactly what size i should order at least it would be really close seince we are both near sea level thanks again
