Don't know...you could go to www.jmxracing.com and post a question to Joe.
Personally, I prefer the Shelby track, even though Metrolina was closer to me. Too many things about the layout at Metrolina seemed to lend itself to crashing riders ending up in opposing direction traffic.
The JMX series also added a couple races about 10-15 miles north of Shelby at an outdoor track, Parker Valley...also a great track.
Joes puts on a great event. It's worth the extra travel.
Yeah I love parker valley...raced there several times . I looove that 4th gear pinned up hill triple. Did it once but stopped after I have seen a few riders break there legs when comming up short and bouncing off the seats.
I never tried to triple it, but hit it harder than I meant to while doubling and landed in the takeoff of the third one. Ended up leaning back and pinning the throttle. Bounced and departed the bike while in the air. It was a 2001 CR250, #216 that day, either the +30 or +35 class.
