NOHVCC Project Coordinator


The National Off-Highway Vehicle Conservation Council would like to invite interested individuals to apply for the position of Project Coordinator for the organization. The position is a full-time position with the choice to work from your home office, the Montana NOHVCC office, or the Wisconsin NOHVCC Office. The position offers benefits including competitive salary, medical and dental insurance, 401K, and paid vacation.


Qualifications
The Project Coordinator must have:


A very strong background in OHV recreation, either professionally or as an OHV recreation advocate, with an excellent understanding of the issues and challenges facing the OHV community both locally and nationally.
The ability to ride off-highway motorcycles or ATVs, preferably both.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Good basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
The ability to present information verbally to large groups.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
Willingness to travel approximately once or twice each month.
Ability to converse easily with a wide variety of individuals in a variety of situations.
The ability to work in a “team oriented” atmosphere.
The ability to provide a home office workspace if relocation to Great Falls, MT or Sheboygan, WI is not an option.

Responsibilities
The Responsibilities of the NOHVCC Project Coordinator will include:


Assist Senior Project Coordinator and other staff with coordination, planning, and implementation of OHV Management and OHV Association Development Workshops.
Provide advice, assistance, materials, and other information to NOHVCC State Representatives, Alternates, recreationists, agency, and others as requested by e-mail, phone, or other means. Most information can be shared verbally or electronically but the physical distribution of printed materials will be coordinated with staff in the Sheboygan office.
Manage and assist in the development of projects such as educational programs, management documents, manuals, and other tools to promote responsible OHV recreation.
Manage and maintain the NOHVCC Electronic OHV Information Library.
Attend and support various OHV related events across the nation as a representative of the NOHVCC.

Salary Range: $35,000 - 40,000, depending on qualifications.
