Just picked up a suzuki JR80 off craigslist.
The bike runs pretty good and looks good...but while taking it apart to clean it up and do a routine service I noticed that the intake hose going from the air box to the carb wasn't even secured on. It was basically laying up against the carb inlet...the hose was NOT slid over the carb inlet. I tried for over an hour to get it up over the carb inlet with no luck. So I took the complete intake box off to see what the deal was and noticed that the hose is belled on the carb side. How in the world do I get this thing on?
If you attempt to tighten the clamp it pushes the hose off the carb.
Anyone have experience?
