I was just thinking, does anybody have an idea of how much it would cost to build a modern mx bike using only OEM parts, but if you order the parts one by one, instead of an already assembled bike?

Never did the math on a dirt bike, but in '86 I did total up a GSXR750.
Just under $16k in 1986 dollars.
