Hi all
I have brought a 1990 kdx 125sr which was used for off road use, I now want to use it on the road. Is it just simple connect the loom back up to lights ect or is there anything else I need to do or change ?
Thanks

Moved to the KDX Forum.

The question is too general.

What does your state require to plate a motorcycle? If I'm not mistaken the SR came with everything generally needed to be plated in most places (mirrors, horn, turn signals)? Did you get all that with the bike?

In Texas for example, turn signals and mirrors aren't required, a brake light, hi-lo beams and a horn are.

most probably all you have to do is put the lights in place and it will work.
The SR also has an oil pump that squirts it into the manifold between the carburetor and the reed valve. But I prefered to use premix after my SR seized due to the pump going bad.
