Kdx 200 2004 Gearbox Failure?

Man, I was riding hard yesterday,really jammin through through the gears,second and third mostly,chasin a bud through the palmettos,and I thought I misshifted as he pulled ahead.As it turns out, The bike,although it will shift through all gears smoothly,will not "go into gear''. The clutch pulls in fine and smooth. I took the right cover off hoping to find something amiss but the fluid was clean and the clutch looks good. The bike starts right up. I think I hear something scratchy,crunchy, but Cant be sure. Please help,the season is just starting :bang:

It want pull in any gear? Did you look at the other end of the shifter with the rh cover off? Was the shifter drum moving as you move the shift lever? Just trying to narrow it down a bit.

Im looking at kawasaki .com parts diagram and I cant find shifter drum. rh covers off,bike wont pull in any gear,not even a hint, very catastrohic,bamm,nothing in the drive drain. Clutch cables disconnected if I understand you right. Thanks
