So I'm rebuilding my engine completely. I've got it all torn apart and I was just trying to figure out where everything goes. Well I think I've got it figured out EXCEPT FOR ONE LITTLE PIECE. I have an extra washer. It is very thin and looks like it might go between some gears like a spacer of shim. It's 22 mm wide. Anybody have any ideas. The manual doesn't show it. :bang:

I got the spacers on the crank. This is a very thin washer. It looks like it is used like a bearing between two surfaces. Tellme how to post a pic and I'll show you what it looks like.

That link does not work for me. All the washers have the size built into the part number and I happen to have a search engine. Here are the ones that are 20-22 mm OD

Sounds like the clutch to me. There is a washer that goes on after the basket and before the inner hub.

But even before that, there is a washer that goes on as the first component to installing a complete clutch. It goes on right next to the bearing fixed to the case, then the metal sleeve slides on the shaft, then the clutch basket. It usually sticks to the clutch basket and falls off without realizing there is a washer there. I bet that's it.

I have a photo of both washers being installed. If you need it, e-mail me and I send it your way. I don't have a way to post. (I don't think) I
