I recently fitted Trailtech Vapour computor to my 2007 KDX 200. It has a rev counter, but am not sure if it is functioning correctly. Does anyone know typically at what approx. revs the KDX idles, and what typically a KDX should rev to(maximum)?

Idle will vary greatly depending how you have it set. One person might feel 1200 rpm is a "normal" idle, someone else might feel 2800 rpm is a "normal" idle.

If you were to pull all the way through a gear, say 3rd, you should probably peak and be ready to shift by 8500-9000 rpm. I doubt you'll get a KDX to pull much past 9K, that's well beyond peak power.
