KDX 250 motor in KX frame??

Does anyone out there know if a 92 KDX 250 motor will fit into a 94-98 kx frame or 92-93? I am wanting to put the motor and lights into a KX chasis but don't know what years the motor will fit into. I would appreciate any help on this.

I would suggest you contact Jeff Fredette and find out if he could do it or could offer suggestions. He is the king of stuffing KDX200 motors into KX125 frames!!!!!!

The KDX250 motor is based on an '88 KX250, so it should bolt right into a KX250 frame from around '88 to '89.
