Last weekend i went head on into a quad at 35 mph and trashed the rim and axle. Does anyone know if any kx front wheels will bolt on to my '96 kdx forks?

I think you are out of luck with that. I have a entire 96 front end though. But how about taking this unfortune and turning it to a reason to go with the kx front end and then find out what a kdx can really do. Go to the gallery and have a look.

I ditto tedkxkdx! Take this event and turn it into a KX front end. Just did mine and it is awesome. Hardest part was finding the KX front end.

Remember too, that you don't have to use KX fork / wheel assembly. I know for sure that Yamaha YZ forks / wheel assembly will work using the KX triple clamp. You will need the YZ brake caliper though, since the KDX brake won't fit the yamaha forks.

The wheel is the same.

It is the hubs and axle that are different on the KX bikes. you can always lace a new wheel to your hub if that is in one piece.
