KDX Carby

I have a 90 model kdx 200 just purchased.
The carby that is on it is much smaller than the one in the manual.
I was given the correct carby with it but was told it dosent fit the air box?
I am pretty keen to put the correct carby on it as i think the airbox may be different, maybe in Australia we got a different carb airbox setup?

Can anyone shed some light on my predicament.

A 35mm carb was used. Maybe it does fit and they were wrong? If the airbox on the bike is the correct then the carb you got is wrong.

SR models were shipped with 28mm, uhm, carbies.

Hi , you will need to change the boot rubber on the back of the head and also the airbox .
I had the sr 200 version with the smaller carb and I had to make 2 trips to the breakers as i first got the airbox to find that the carb would then not fit in the head boot rubber.
