Hi all!

I ordered a shop manual with 220R supplement from my local Kawa dealer a month ago. I called in today and they said that manuals often take 2+ months for them to get from Kawa, but an aftermarket manual could be available as soon as the end of the week.

Has anyone used an aftermarket manual? Are they any good?

I've used Chilton's and Haynes manuals for my Bronco, but never for a bike.

Thank you!

I prefer the factory manual....but I could never find a manual other than the factory for late model kdx's...anyways I had a Chiltons for my Yama, and I don't like it....btw, I think you dealer is full of it, cause everytime I needed I manual my dealer would have to order it and it would take no more the a week or so to get....good luck with it.

They originally told me a week, which I thought was great. Of course they didn't have it a week and a half later.... now it's been 4. I called and they told me this. Grrr.

I may try a dealer farther away and see if I get jacked. Bummer is, I already paid for it.

Well, either way, the important thing is getting my manual. It's too darn cold to ride now anyway!
