I am currently using golden spectro at 4 gallons to one bottle,somewhere around 40 to 1,I was told to switch to 5 gallons to make it 50 to 1.is this safe and will my bike perform better?
I AM USING AMSOIL 100:1 IN MY 2001 220.I AM MIXING IT AT 64:1(2 OZ./GAL).SO FAR,I HAVE NO PROBLEMS AND IT BURNS VERY CLEAN.YOU SHOULD HAVE NO PROBLEMS WITH SPECTRO AT 50:1.
Assuming one bottle = 12.8 oz then 1 bottle per 5 gallon should be fine for trail riding. If you race MX, ride sand dunes or spend alot of time at WOT then you may want to use more oil. I don't think you will see any performance gains though.
