Kick starter gear??

I just bought my first dirt bike - an 89 CR250. I didn't pay much for it so of course I need to do a little work to it before I start riding it.

Anyway, my question...

I need a new gear for the kick starter. I have a chance to get one from a 85 CR250 - will that fit my 89??
