hi, i was thinking of going to the kingman h.s. this weekend, can someone please tell me what type of course, terrain, etc. to expect? also, is there an mx section as part of the course?
Typical Indiana/Illinois hare scramble. Tight woods, will be muddy if it rains within a week before the race. Some of the creek crossings can get nasty, but there's always a bunch of people around to direct guys to alternate routes. No major hills; good course when it's dry.
the number to Salt fork club is(217)442-2316. You can get all event information for district 17 at www.cycleusa.com/dist17/. They have all promoters phone numbers and event schedules. Raced there last year and liked the trail alot. I think it was a 15 and 17 race though Im not sure.
